Harris, David H.
David H. Harris, passed away peacefully at age 69, on March 24, 2014. David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and terrific friend. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara N. of 47 years, daughters Cindi Wyatt (husband Bond) and Susan Berg (husband Darren), 3 grandchildren, Brandon Harris-Haynes, Max Berg and Ryan Berg, and his sister Patricia Jones. David was the youngest of 4 children and was raised in both Flagstaff and Tucson, AZ. He and Barbara both attended the U of A, where they met. They moved to Scottsdale in 1968, were Dave was employed with the City of Scottsdale for 20 years. He next went to work for Carter & Assoc, Jones & Stokes and the Board of Regents. Prior to retirement Dave was the Assistant VP of PBC Development for the U of A, were he recently oversaw the development of the Arizona Biomedical Campus in Phoenix. Dave's list of friends and colleagues grew through his involvement with the Scottsdale Charros, City of Scottsdale and TPC, as well as other clubs, organizations and events that helped his community and friends throughout his life. A memorial service will be held Saturday April 5, 2014 at 11am at St. Barnabas on the Desert Episcopal Church, 6715 E. Mockingbird Lane, Scottsdale. Contributions can be made to the Charro Foundation, 10533 E. Lakeview Dr Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
