Djinis-Brown, Eleanor "Ellie" L.
83 of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully in her home on March 30, 2014. Ellie was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 6, 1931. She was the beloved wife of the late Tyke Djinis. Ellie is survived by daughter Elaine Djinis and son Greg Djinis (wife Denise). Ellie was adored by her 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She had many nieces and nephews and extended family throughout the country that she loved dearly. Ellie loved Phoenix and had a great passion for entertaining and cooking Greek food. The family would like to express their blessings to her good friends who she has known and worked with throughout the years. Visitation will be held Friday April 4, 2014 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at A. L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Phoenix; with funeral services on Saturday April 5, 2014 at 10:00am., at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral 1973 E. Maryland Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85016. Interment to follow at Phoenix Memorial Park Cemetery.
