Eldridge, Edward F. Jr
82 passed away quietly at his home on April 10, 2014, and was a long time resident of Phoenix, AZ. Born in Bay City, MI, to Edward Sr. and Isabel (Betz) Eldridge and graduated from Bay City Central High School. He and his family lived in Munger, MI before moving to Phoenix in 1973. He proudly served in Korea with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He fulfilled a dream when he attended Phoenix College and served as the Student Body President and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa graduating with Honors. He was employed by Southwest Seed and Feed until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling and camping with his family. He was a wonderful husband and father and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Marilyn and daughters, Connie (Brian ) Mahoney of Michigan, Cindy Lake, Julie (Richard) Beane both of Mesa, AZ and Amy Hendershot of Mayer, AZ; by 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and his older sister Ruth and brother-in-law Fred Keller of Michigan. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters, Doris Eldridge and Nancy Chesney. A military service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Rd. in Phoenix on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to , www.hov.org for the loving care given to him during his final months or the AZ Humane Society which he actively supported.
