Tang, Howard
83, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away April 11, 2014. Born October 31, 1930, he was raised in Phoenix and graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1949. After a year at Phoenix College, he joined the US Air Force for four years. He then enrolled at Arizona State University and graduated with a BS degree and then began employment of 35+ years at Norman S. Wright, manufacturers representatives of heating, ventilating and cooling equipment. He is a member of the American Legion Post #50, Ong Ko Met Assn., YMCA and the First Chinese Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen, three children, Roger, Tracy (Linda) and Neal (Camy), three grandchildren, Jasmine, Tyler, Morganne and his siblings, Helen Gee (Richard), Davis, Bobby (Margie), Tom (Josie) and sister-in-law Lynne (Bill, deceased). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to First Chinese Baptist Church (4910 E. Earl Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85018), Northwest Chinese Baptist Church (4243 W. Greenway Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85053), Phoenix Chinese Baptist Church (5811 N. 20th St., Phoenix, AZ 85016). Visitation and services will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel, 2300 W. Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ 85009, on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Visitation will be at 9 am with services to follow at 10:30 am. For additional information please visit
