87, born Aug. 24, 1926 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, died May 5, 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She graduated from Gettysburg College (Physics) in 1948 and University of Mass., Lowell, (Electronics) in 1958. Connie worked as a color tube engineer at Sylvania, and was the manager of the calibration department of Litton Industries (night goggle vision division). Connie married William C. Davis on May 3, 1952 in Seneca Falls, N.Y. She raised 5 children; Virginia Hart, Clarke Davis (Kristen), Laura Carpenter (Phillip), Rachel Davis, and Benjamin Davis (Bridget) and is survived by her 13 grandchildren; Nicolas, Bradley, Chance, Brea, Adam, Ramon, Grant, Marcus, Sarah, Laura, Lyam, Mackenna, Grace and also her 7 great grandchildren; Jennifer, Jeremy, Victoria, Lexi, Aleena, Peyton and Charlotte. She served as chairman of the Society of Women Engineers and was very involved in arts of all forms. She enjoyed painting and pressing flowers to create her own hybrid media works and going to live theatre and musical performances and everything in between. She had a knack for always finding the beauty in life and was very active in church functions. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all she was in contact with. Her belief was always to give. She will always be missed and forever treasured. A Memorial Service will be held at Scottsdale Congregational United Church of Christ, 4425 N. Granite Reef Road, on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
