Anthonee Espinoza Obituary
Espinoza, Anthonee
Anthonee Espinoza (maiden name Delgadillo), 84, of Phoenix, AZ , passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at her happy home away from home, Madison Meadows, where she was well taken care of by staff and hospice, with family by her side. She was born in Tucson, Arizona on January 10, 1930. She then relocated with her family to "Camp 52", at Litchfield Park, and picked cotton in the fields while growing up with her siblings. Later, while visiting the city of Phoenix, she met the love of her life, Lt. Col. Daniel F. Espinoza, whom she soon married. Yearning for adventure they flipped a coin to decide if they would move to San Francisco or New Orleans. To San Francisco it was, and after a time having "The City by the Bay" at their whims, they had their only child, Brian. Anthonee worked as a seamstress, and later, assistant to her husband whom was a Private Investigator. As city-life began to decay, they came back to their loved homeland of Phoenix, and lived peacefully in mid-town. Anthonee's husband, Danny, passed in 1997, and after her grieving, she continued to lead a full and rich life, until Alzheimer's disease began to claim her faculties. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Brian & Mrs. Stephanie Espinoza, and her two grandchildren, Anna and Julian. A graveside ceremony will be held at 9:30a.m., Monday, May 19, 2014, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024. Anthonee will be laid to rest with her eternal love, Lt. Col. Daniel Espinoza. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Organization at alz.org. Arrangements by A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, Az 85013. To view the online obituary, send sympathy cards and ordering flowers, please visit www.almoore-grimshaw.com
