01/07/1923 ~ 07/06/2014 Eleanore Knechtges Nash, age 91. Educated in Minnesota and moved to the Phoenix area in 1966. She loved the Valley and its many magical star lit nights. Accountant and self taught financial planner. Since retirement she was a volunteer for the AARP Tax Aid Program. She became coordinator for the program and worked with counselors at four adult centers in the West Phoenix area. She did taxes for many home bound tax payers and worked well into her eighties. She was a creative seamstress from age nine to eighty winning many blue ribbons, trophies and honors at state fairs in Minnesota and Arizona over the years. She was happiest helping others in need. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Le Roy C., her parents, one brother and two sisters, a niece and a great niece. She is survived by nephews; Daniel, John, and Michael Richey, Andrew Nash, Allen and Ted Dykoski. Nieces; Kathy Wolslayer, Sharon Hierlmaier, Bonnie Gray, Jan McWithy, Pam Nash Saur.
