Woods, Warren "Trapper"
75, of Anthem, Arizona passed away on September 3, 2010. Born on September 3, 1935 to Warren Bruce and Virginia Clowes Woods of SLC, Utah. Trapper graduated from the U of U in 1961 and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Infantry through the R.O.T.C. where he ultimately achieved the rank of Captain. He was a member of the LDS Church and served a two year mission. In 1962 he entered the family business with his father and brother Paul S. Woods which they expanded into six states. For the past 23 yrs he had a career in public speaking and earned the designation of CSP. As a specialist on the subject of time he was known in the industry as "Father Time". He is survived by his wife and true love for 47 years, Brenda L. Rudolph, their four children, Kimberly, Todd (Michelle Gillette), Mark (Charlene Huft), Kevin and five grandchildren, Jordan, Jazzie, Lily, Kalia, Joshua Trapper, sister Carol Martin, and brother Paul S. Woods. Friday, Sept 10th at 12:00 noon at the Parley's First Ward, 2350 South 2100 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Internment will be at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106. We will have a "Celebration of Trapper's Life" in the next few weeks for friends that live in Arizona.
