Totedo, Richard "Richie"
66, of Phoenix, AZ. lost his valiant fight with caner January 15, 2011. His faith in the Lord allowed him to pass peacefully in the loving arms of his wife Judy. Knowing Richie is knowing the true meaning of Christianity. His devotion is an inspiration to all who came in contact with him. He was born in Donora, Pa. May 2,1944 to Joseph and Mary Totedo. The family moved to Phoenix in 1955 where he attended Machan Grade School and North Phoenix High School before enlisting in the Marine Corp and serving in Viet Nam. Richie has a multitude of friends and worked untiringly at his church, Phoenix First Church of the Nazarene, doing any and everything that needed to be done. He is survived by his wife Judy of Phoenix, AZ. and her family, also his sons, John, Richard and Wayne, sisters, Rose Sass (Johnny Milner) of Lake Montezuma, AZ., Joan (Willy) Caldwell of Phoenix, AZ., brother Joe (Jessica) Totedo of Fredricksburg, Tex., nieces, Sandy (Mark) Peters of Prescott, AZ., Debbie Sass of Oklahoma, and Dee Kline of Mesa, AZ. In true Richie Totedo fashion he donated his body to Science Care for medical and scientific research. Services will be held this Saturday January 22, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Phoenix First Church of the Nazarene 19201 N. 7th Ave., 7th Ave. and Utopia just North of Union Hills.
