Kuhlman, Kathryn Frances
65, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2011. She was born in Seattle, WA on June 2, 1946 to Harold and Frances Kuhlman. After high school she worked for many years for Nordstom's, working her way up to becoming a buyer. After many stressful years, she wanted a slower pace, and entered the healthcare field. She worked as a surgery scheduler in Seattle. For health reasons she sought a warmer climate and moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1991. She worked as a surgery scheduler for Sun Valley Hand Surgery for 8 years and then for TOCA for the past 12 years. She was an avid bingo player and never turned down a chance to go to the Casino. She was a beautiful person both inside and out and was loved by so many. She deeply touched those who knew her and their lives will be forever changed for knowing her. She is survived by her sisters, Roberta and Beth Kuhlman of Yakima, sister Barbara Van Wagnen of Stanwood, WA, a brother James Kuhlman of Seattle, WA, two nieces, Mary and Christina Van Wagnen of Stanwood, WA and a nephew, Andrew Van Wagnen of Edmonds, WA and one great niece. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, August 21, from noon until 5 pm, at her home.
