James Bratt Obituary
James "Don" Bratt, age 85, joined the Lord on 1/21/2012 after a long illness. Don was born April 10, 1926, in Henryetta Oklahoma to James and Hattie Bratt. He came to Arizona with his parents in 1939. In 1941 Don went on to work at the family business Bratt's Ice Cream, in Phoenix. Don met and later married Janice Coleman in 1953. Don also owned and operated Bratt's Ice in Parker for several years. In 1976, he moved his family to Prescott and bought Prescott Sanitary and Pool Supply. Don is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Janice, son Barry, Daughter Belinda McDowell, Grandson Byron, Sister Hazel Bond, and Brother Bill. He is survived by his sister Imogene Isom, two children and their spouses, daughter Barbara and Mirando Ketner of Casa Grande, and Ben and Julie Bratt of California, 10 Grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on 2/10/2011 at 10:00 am at Samaritan Funeral Home, 1505 E. McDowell Rd. in Phoenix.
