Towar, Judith Jalbert
73, passed away Friday October 19th in Phoenix AZ from complications from ALS. She was born to the late Kay and Raymond Jalbert in Providence RI. She graduated from Michigan State University and received a Masters from Wayne State. She was a teacher, artist and later a dedicated real estate agent. She loved the arts, historic preservation and was committed to helping others. She was active in many non-profit cultural and civic organizations including being the co-founder of the Historical League of the Arizona Historical Society. She was also active at All Saints Episcopal Church, and helped with the Assistance to the Lost Boys of Sudan program. Judy is survived by her daughter Stacy, brother Russell and ex-husband David. In lieu of flowers, Judy requested that donations be made to All Saints Episcopal Church's EFM scholarship fund or Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
