Bolton, Edward Laurence
88, of Phoenix passed away on December 14, 2012. He was a World War II Army veteran, retired from AT& T after 33 years and was an active ordained deacon at St. Gregory Catholic Church for 32 years. Edward was born on November 19, 1924 in Kent, Ohio to Joseph and Margaret, Bolton; he was preceded in death by his parents and wife Alice Rita, son Patrick, grandsons Daniel and Joseph. Edward is survived by daughters Rita, Mary, and sons James, Timothy, Laurence, and their families including 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Viewing will be held Friday, December 21st from 6-8 PM at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, 3424 N. 18th Ave, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 22nd at 11 AM at St. Gregory's Catholic Church with interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale. Arrangements entrusted to Rude Family Northwest Mortuary (602) 266-8000. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to St. Gregory Catholic School Adopt-A-Student Program or , 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix 85014
