Browning, Leora "Maxine"
84, of Peoria passed away on January 5, 2013. Maxine was born in Columbus, Kansas on May 1, 1928. She and her family moved to Phoenix in 1963. She worked as a bookkeeper for KOOL-TV and later at a travel agency. After she retired, she was a Sun Health Volunteer and Auxiliary member. Her greatest love was her family, but her real joy was quilting and crafting. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Leon Browning; daughters Shirley Cooper and Gayla (Bill) Lazzeri; Grandchildren Teresa (Sean) O'Brien, Kathleen Hardison; Kevin Hardison, Christine (Rick) Belver, Dana (Dan) Winterstein, and Angela (Lee) Foreman; Great Grandchildren: Tyler Winterstein, Lori Anne (Henry) Poullard, Andrew Winterstein, Kaytie O'Brien, Kimberly Belver, Kevin Hardison, Jr., Brandon Winterstein, Leora Adams, Kelsey Winterstein, Austin Hardison, and Emma Hardison; Great-great grandchildren: Henry, Lillian and Jeremiah. Sister: Helen Glassburner. Brother: Bill (Pat) Rogers. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Menke Funeral Home Chapel, 12420 N 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ.
