Timothy Mullet Obituary

Mullet, Timothy James
passed away peacefully, at age 94, on January 5, 2013 at Friendship Village in Tempe, Arizona. He was born July 12, 1918 in Bloomfield, Montana, the son of David J. and Maude (Kauffman) Mullet. Tim retired from Garrett AiResearch in 1980. As an Aerospace Engineer he worked on both the manned and unmanned space programs and many commercial airliners to include the Concorde. As a pilot, he served in the Army Air Corp in World War II. Tim enjoyed people and was an avid sportsman who loved playing golf, hunting and fishing. In retirement he became a school volunteer and devoted himself to his family and grandchildren. Tim is survived by daughter Denise (Ken) Newman, and grandchildren, Kellyn (Marty) Jertson and Torri J. Newman. Also, daughter Tamara (Ken) Dupraz and grandchildren Melissa (Jayson) Eagley, and Kendra Dupraz. Tim was preceded in death by his daughter Candice Sue Mullet, and is survived by her children, grandsons Hubbard (Melissa) Lee and Russell Hillman. Also surviving is brother Ernest (Ruth) Mullet of Glendive, Montana, four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Tim will be deeply missed by so many who feel they might be a better person for having known him. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 14 at Red Top Mennonite Church in Bloomfield, Montana. Burial will be at Red Top Cemetery.
