Erickson, Maxine
90, of Scottsdale, died Monday March 11, 2013. Born Maxine Kennedy February 4, 1923 in Phoenix, she was the tenth child and youngest daughter of parents Arizona Kennedy and Grace Truman (Daniel) Kennedy. Maxine was the last surviving sibling of older brothers Clarence, sisters Jewel and Estalee, brothers Guy, John and Herc, sister Mattie, brothers AZ and JB, and younger brothers Harold and Charlie. Maxine is survived by children Melody Jeanette (Humphrey) Moore, Walter Daniel and Theresa Joy Norton; and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by sons Michael Edward and Ellis John Humphrey, and daughter Starr Suzanne (Humphrey) Reese. Maxine, or Aunt Max to many, was always ready with a smile, an entertaining story, and an amazing generosity of spirit. She loved her family dearly, and she seemed to consider everyone family. Her smile and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Noon at Trinity Baptist Fellowship Church, 3213 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ
