Lucille Burnham Obituary
Lucille Rogers Burnham, 91, of Gilbert, AZ passed away March 22, 2013. Lucille was born November 14, 1921 in Chino Valley, AZ to Isaac Higbee and Myra Irene Sanders Rogers. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sweetheart, Stanford Alma Burnham and her daughter, Kay Burnham. She is survived by her children: Linda (Terry), Robert (Jenell), Diane (Don), Bruce (Gina), Lois (David), Renae (Terry), Lynn (Jenny), Naoma (Brent), Irene (Don); 61 grandchildren and 117 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Lucille was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission for the church with her husband to Australia. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, serving, family and her religion. Lucille was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to serving others. She will be greatly missed. A viewing for Lucille will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald, Mesa. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 611 N. Stewart, Mesa, with a viewing one hour prior at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the mission fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I appreciate you letting me know about the passing of your mother, Renae. I have wonderful memories of all of the time I spent over at your house. I always felt like a member of your family ~ I just could never get up at 6:00 a.m. like the rest of you! Your house always smelled of homemade bread, I loved it! I love your mom and dad and am happy that she is finally back with your dad. You have a great family!
