In loving memory, Floyd William Ferner Jr., 79, born May 25, 1934 in Lorain, Ohio. Passed away May 27, 2013. Floyd was retired from the Marine Corps. and the U.S. Postal Service. Floyd was Arizona State Secretary and past National Board member of the Travelers Protective Association. Floyd participated for many years in Phoenix Fire Department toy drives, and the Ktizo Church of Christ charitable events. Floyd was an avid gardener, and a friend to everyone he met. Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley, and children Floyd III, Pamela, and Douglas, and will be reunited in heaven with his daughter Diane, whose two children, Marla and Rikki, he raised. Floyd is survived by 2 other grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, June 9th at 1 pm at The Ktizo United Church of Christ, 917 E. Sherridan St., Phoenix AZ 85006. Donations will be accepted in his name for The Ktizo United Church of Christ. Arrangements entrusted to Green Acres Glendale Mortuary, Glendale.
