My, now wife, and I got to meet Jack once in his later years. My late father, Wayne Bailey "Sonny" was his "butler" or pretty much a property keeper for several years before my father had a stroke and had to be let go. Both of my parents lived with him for several years and let me promise you....it was the best years of their lives. They both adored and admired Jack. They were doing FAR better than had ever previously done, financially and morally. They were just happy. My dad LOVED his role and did damn a damn good job at it. Rest in true peace Mr. Parker and thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving my parents a taste of a good and honest enjoyment of living life. They were the happiest I had ever seen them.
