Michael Casbarro Obituary
Michael Anthony Casbarro, 74 passed away July 25th with his family at his side. Michael is survived by his wife Mary of 55 years; his five children Michael, Monica, Michelle, Matthew, and Mark. He is the grandfather to Steven, Allison, Anthony, and Ashley. His brother Matthew Casbarro of Columbus, Ohio also survives him. He was preceded in death by his mother Julia Casbarro Rosati, stepfather Pat Rosati, and father Michael J. Casbarro. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 2nd at 10am at West Resthaven Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Avenue. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army. A few years ago I started getting my early am coffee at the Pima and Chaparal store and met a man so many called Grandpa. We started chatting and became good friends, talking about family, sports, and everything but politics. I called him Big Mike at first, then called him Grandpa as it fit the bill. Like everyone else I consider myself lucky to have met him and had his friendship. Just before his passing I had the pleasure of meeting his son, Mike, and his wife Mary. Our heart felt prayers are with you and all the family. He was a good man that will be missed by all who knew him.
