Audrey Jane Collier 59, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on July 15, 2013. She is survived by her sisters Joette Zaremba and Sue Woodward (Jay), nieces Rebekah Fry, Jessica Karazsia, Jocelyn Karazsia, nephew, Mark Fry and life long friend Glen Crain. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Crystal (Shitzapoo), Snip (barn kitty), and Isis (thoroughbred mare). She was the daughter of Audrey Marion and Joe Collier. Jane grew up in Latrobe, PA. She served as a flight attendant for over 40 years with US Air. Jane spent many years in Sewickley, PA, where she developed a passion for horses and became an accomplished rider in dressage, cross country and stadium jumping. She was also active in fox hunting with the Sewickly Hunt Club. In Scottsdale she became a member of Paradise Valley Beagles, Grand Canyon Hounds, Red Rock Hounds, Kingsbury Harriers and participated in the Western Hunt Challenge. Jane was a cancer survivor and exhibited remarkable courage during this time. Jane took pride in her 8 years of sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous finding strength and personal growth working with the recovery community. She will be remembered for her love of animals and her genuine interest in the lives and well-being of others. Whether at an equestrian event, AA or a walk in the park, both Crystal and Jane were elegantly dressed. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at First Christian Church in the Fellowship Hall at 1 pm on Saturday August 3rd (7405 East McDonald, Scottsdale, AZ). A reception will follow the service.
