88, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on September 18th, 2013. George was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 21, 1925. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Gilda. George was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his 3 children; Jim, Larry and Jackie, their spouses and his adoring grandchildren. George spent most of his career as a machinist and tool and die maker before mentoring as a supervisor. He enjoyed his retirement as a master model train maker, taking care of his beautiful home and spending time with his family. George was a devoted family man who warmed hearts with his infectious smile, generous spirit and stories. He will be missed greatly by all those who have been blessed by knowing him. Services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 11am at Messinger Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd. Internment to follow at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd.
