Babbitt, Leon J.
Passed away on Feb.19, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ surrounded by his family. He was born on June 19, 1942 in Shelbyville, Michigan. He married Judith (Bowman) Babbitt on Feb. 29, 1964. He worked for Xerox for 27 years and after retirement was a well respected handyman. He was an active member of the church and community and did volunteer work with several groups. He is survived by his wife Judy (Bowman) Babbitt, his children Trish Babbitt, Chad Babbitt, Kristie (Babbitt) Walker, 8 grandchildren Anna, Andrea, Oriana, Ryan, Amanda, Jessica, Carol and Alex. Sisters Wanda (Babbitt) Scofield and twin Leatha (Babbitt) Rychlik. Several Nieces and Nephews. Services will be held on Monday Feb. 24th 10 am at The Church of the Resurrection 3201 S. Evergreen Rd. Tempe, AZ 85202. Memorial contributions can be made to the .
