Edward Steffen Obituary

Steffen, Edward Keith
64, of Ahwatukee passed away on February 26, 2014, after struggling with heart disease for the last several years. He was a Navy Vietnam veteran, an AW3 systems operator aboard a P-3B with deployments in the Western Pacific and Southeast Asia. He excelled at early computer programming as well as mechanical and electrical engineering. He was an avid fan of the U.S. Armed Forces, history, music, theater, football and baseball. In his prime, he was a 200+ average bowler and coach of his son's baseball teams. He is survived by Judith, his wife of 37 years, sister Janet, son James, daughter Elizabeth, and grandsons Alex, Noah, and Brady. Condolences may be offered at www.affordablecremationaz.com. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate a donation made in Ed's honor to the USO at www.uso.org (donate button near the top right).
