Cordova, James
66, of Las Vegas, NV, lost his battle with cancer on March 5, 2014. He grew up in Golden Gate & was loved by a big family & many friends. He proudly served his country in Vietnam with the Army. He enjoyed working as a detailer & project manager in the steel industry. He was mostly known for his love for music & loved the thrill of riding his Harley. As a husband he was a best friend, a provider and a soul mate. As a father he was a supporter & giver of unconditional love. James survived by his wife, Jean, his 4 daughters, Carol, Laura, Sommer (Steve) & Melissa. His 2 sons, James Jr. & Shawn (Jennifer), 8 grandchildren, his sister Grace Soto (Hector) & his brother (friend) Art Taddei. He joins his parents Gilbert & Minnie, his brother Gilbert Jr., & two nephews, Fred Cordova & Hector Soto Jr. Services will be held at Best Funeral on 9380 W. Peoria Ave, Monday, March 17th, at 10:00am followed by motorcycle procession to the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona @ 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd @ 12:30pm. Reception following @ VFW @ 7618 N. 63rd Ave. Our special thanks also goes out to Hospice of the Valley.
