Dear Myrna and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss of a husband and father. It's so hard to say good-bye. God gives us the strength we need to make it through the ever so tough times, although sometimes it doesn't seem like it. In time, your hearts will start to heal, it takes time for this to happen. There will always be scars that formed on your heart from the beginning that will always be a reminder of your loss. Always talk about him and the good times you all have had together, things you have done together as a family and your vacations, it will help you along the way of healing your hearts till you meet again in the Heavenly Realms of the after life.

To the Family of James Ziegler - It is always hard to think of something to say to a family who has lost a loved one so suddenly and unexpected, words can not heal the hurt and pain which you all are feeling but just want you to know that I've been thinking about you're family and have been praying that God gives you all the strength you need in the coming days. My love and sympathy for all of you.

I was blessed to have served around him in the Pittsburgh PA mission. He was a great guy then and I figure that he still is. I feel for his wife and kids as well as all of the others that were touched by this gentle man. He was always able to put a smile on my face and just the memories of him make me smile again. May the Lord bless you all as you struggle through this difficult time.

I served in Pennsylvania with James. He was the most awesome companion anyone could hope to have. I regret that I didn't stay in touch with him through the years. His Brother Jake, lives just around the corner from me and I still didn't get to reunite with James. He was amazing. So Sorry for your loss Myrna and family. You are in our prayers. I have shed many tears since hearing about this. Such sad news. Hang in there, and know we love you.

To the Ziegler Family,
I am so saddened by James's passing! There are no words to describe the hurt and pain of losing a loved one--you are never prepared for such an event. James leaves a huge void in your lives, and that is something you have to put to your faith in our Lord for healing and comfort--I will pray that you can do that with strength, Marilyn and Terry. Losing your son will never be something to take lightly in your life--the loss is forever there. We have a faith that promises the reunion in the Heavens for Eternity, which is the beauty of our LDS principles and faith. This is where our beautiful Temples come into play with our demonstration of discipleship in the Kingdom of Zion. James had this understanding here upon the earth, and I am sure that his Priesthood leadership graced his home and family tremendously. You can be so proud of him for this desire to make his family a forever unit!
I had James in my class whenever the call to guest teach at Papago School came. He simply was the epitome of his father. Kind, soft heart, and very good-natured. I know you will miss his physical presence forever. Now is the time to reinforce his memory into the lives of his precious children.
Love and my sincere prayers to all of you.
