We're sorry we couldn't attend Gene's service - we didn't see this until just a few days ago. Scott was Gene's neighbor on Rancho for several years, and Lynn prepared Gene's tax returns for many years. We remember Gene as a brilliant, gracious, funny man. He lived a simple, down-to-earth life, belying the genius he truly was. We admired him for taking care of his family the way he did. We visited him several times at The Terraces, and while we're not sure he always remembered who we were, he always welcomed us with open arms and was so excited to have visitors. Gene and Marion were just the sweetest couple, and we're glad they enjoyed so many years together. We have thought of Gene often these past few years, and we are saddened by his passing. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. RIP Gene.

Gene was our brother-in-law and a great one indeed. It was a shame we lived so far apart and not able to spend more time together. When we were together we always had a great time and we will really miss him.
