James McKee Obituary
loving husband, father and grandfather passed away November 26, 2015 while visiting family in Oklahoma, at the age of 67. Born August 31, 1948 in El Centro, CA, Jim spent his childhood in OKC and relocated his family to Phoenix permanently in 1982. In 1988, Jim retired after 20 years of service in the USAF. Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynn, son Gerry, daughter Kim, granddaughter Kaela and brothers Paul and David and their families. At the time of his death, Jim was Vice President of the Arizona State Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE), where he devoted 44 years of membership. He held active memberships and offices at both Osborn #2843 and Sunnyslope #2957. A "Celebration of Life" will be held for Jim at Noon on Saturday, December 12th at FOE Osborn #2843, 7575 N 67th Ave, Glendale, AZ. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the FOE Jimmy Durante Children's Fund at the address above. Cremation by Best Funeral Services.

Dad it’s been 5 years and this year seemed particularly hard on thanksgivings day. We kept you close as we somberly gave thanks for what little we do have. We miss you every single day and your loss is felt deeply. Turns out, you really were the glue that kept our family together. I hope you and your brothers are enjoying the fishing up there. Love you!

It's never ok to lose a partner or friend in this life. We need to find comfort in the friends and family around us. We will miss Jim and cherish the time we had with him. There is a strong bond of Eagles protecting your family at this time.
