I'm praying this one more time, this one more moment in time that I don't have to face this inevitable, finallity of a crazy two week journey! Mom, I am so going to miss you. All of the support, the love, the caring words. The movies, the lunches, the travel time to come and see your grandkids! Let's not forget the shopping. Target, K-mart, Safeway and all of the places in between. We had a great run, partner in crime! This episode, though, has come to an end. You had to move on to greater things. Though your journey is done here, mine has just begun. I have to learn to live without my bestest friend. I know you'll always be with me and no this isn't me grasping at the attention ring. I'm just trying to put into perspective an empty, vacant void of a hole left by your passing. Mommy, to me you were everything. The reality sets in, the stage is bare. There's one light set for you, a solitary light for you to stand and take a bow. You were and are a practically perfect in every way mother. I will ache with your passing and I will mourn it. It's not going to be easy, I won't have your wisdom to guide me, but I will have treasured memories! The clock didn't stop for us. Until I see you again. . . so long sweet, sweet soul.

Paulette you were an amazing woman. You were so much fun to be around - you had such a bright personality that lit a light into everyone you met including me. Thank you for always being kind & bringing happiness to me whenever I saw you. I am glad that you passed on your humor & bright personality to your loving son Vince. You will be missed, God must have needed one of his superior angels back in Heaven for some reason - I am fortunate that I was able to meet you.
