Johnson, Robert W.
87 of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on September 11, 2016. Bob graduated from Yale University with a degree in Economics. After graduation he married Mary Jane and moved to New York City and started work as a Banker. A year later they moved back to Nebraska and had 4 children. After Bob stopped working as a banker, the entire family moved to Phoenix Arizona. Once all the kids were grown, Bob and Mary spent each year traveling to Europe and the United States researching their families genealogy. Bob was a Vice President of the Bank of Burwell, Burwell Nebraska, a Mason, an avid Golfer, and a Nebraska football fan and St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan since he was a young boy. He is survived by his daughters Connie husband Rick, and Cindy husband Francis. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane, his son Curtis and his youngest daughter Cathy. He had four grandchildren, Jana, Ryan, Katy, Trenton and two great grandchildren, Edith and Oliver. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate the life of Bob which will be held on Saturday, October 1, at 10:00 am at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206, 480-830-4422.
