She cared for the sick and injured dogs and cats many times getting them vet care at her own expense. She also cleaned a lot of kennels when needed. She was voted woman of the year for Delano in 2009 for her dedication to helping the homeless and unwanted animals of Delano. She wanted everyone to take care of their families, their pets and animals and to always spay and neuter your animals. Not sure what to say?

I still think of her often. She was such a special person. The dogs all loved her.

Eight long years and not a day goes by that I do not think about you and miss you. I know you are at peace and that does help me.

Torin 5/2020

Hello, I have never had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Glenda Miller, but I would like her family to know that her legacy lives on and she is recognized and appreciated by people hundreds of miles away. Your memorial fund paid for a rescue puppy's care, and saved her life. We adopted her, and will be forever in your debt for allowing us the opportunity to give this incredible and wonderful canine a second chance at happiness. She is healthy, happy, and growing by the second, full of energy. ...

There will never be a day pass our family will not miss you. I will always be greatfull I had you for an Aunt, a Mother figure and Best Friend.

I miss Glenda every day and cherish every memory of her and the 30 years we spent together. She brought me so much love every day. She loved her family and loved all animals.Thank you all for the kind words that will keep her memory alive. The picture is Rocky and Sugar, our first two rescue dogs and the ones who really got her started in animal rescue.

David, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, your wife, even though we met for a few minutes, left me with a lifetime memory of a caring wonderful woman who did all for animals in need. We cherish every day with our Chappy and we never would have had the opportunity to have him in our lives without her. May she rest in peace and may the wonderful memories of her you hold so dear comfort you and your family.

We miss you so much. However, all of the animals at the Rainbow Bridge are happy to have you with them. Your love and light will burn bright forever!
