Edna Frey Obituary

Edna peacefully passed away and went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 21, 2014. She was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois and was one of seven children. Her family later moved to Kansas where most of her wonderful childhood memories took place.
She married and had three children while still in Kansas, and the family later moved to Bakersfield, California. She worked as a secretary at Hooper Air Conditioning for many years and was active in Oildale First Baptist Church. She and her husband later retired and moved to Checotah, Oklahoma where she lived for 18 years. Edna had a wonderful sense of humor, and her kind and loving ways will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her son, Doug Roth. She is survived by her husband, Frank Frey, daughters, Karen Wass and Pam Teagarden, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Edna's life on October 4 in Checotah, Oklahoma.
