Eleanor Moody Clark(1924 - 2013)

Eleanor Moody Clark August 17, 1924 - September 7, 2013 Eleanor was born in Chile and lived in several places before settling in Bakersfield in 1981. She lived a colorful life, while travelling and painting all over Europe. Eleanor belonged to the U.S.O. in the South Pacific where she met her husband, Charles in Okinawa. She retired as a graphic artist from May Co., Los Angeles, CA then settled in Bakersfield, CA. She was an active member in the Kern County Scottish Society and the Bakersfield Art Association. She made many friends along the way. She was preceded in death in 1995 by her husband Charles. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 11 from 5p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, September 12 from 12-Noon to 3 p.m. at Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara Funeral Home, 1100 Truxtun Ave., Bakersfield, CA.
