Floyd Thionnet Floyd Thionnet passed away after a very brief illness on December 8, 2012, while on a golf vacation with his beloved wife, Pat in Rancho Mirage, CA. Floyd is also survived by sons Brian and Brandt, daughter Stefani, grandchildren Aika, Paige, Alex and Jack and daughter-in-laws Melanie and Fuyuko. He was preceded in death by his parents Lou and Ruby Thionnet and brother Jim and sister Glenda. Floyd married Pat Ford on July 28, 1962, in Bakersfield, CA. They enjoyed just over 50 beautiful years of marriage together. Floyd attended Bakersfield High School, Bakersfield College, University of Arizona and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Floyd retired from Moorpark College in 2001 after 30 years as a College Administrator and Coach. Floyd excelled at playing baseball in high school and Bakersfield College. He loved his grandchildren dearly. He was an avid, passionate golfer, loved boating and cherished spending time with his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on December 14th, at Saddle Creek Resort in the Gold Room at 1-3 p.m, located 1001 Saddle Creek Dr. in Copperopolis, California 95228.
