Francis Louise Marshall Chambers(1948 - 2013)

Francis Louise Marshall Chambers October 22, 1948- January 22, 2013 Francis Louise Marshall Chambers, of Glennville California, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday January 22, 2013 at home after a valiant fight against cancer. She was born in Bakersfield, California on October 22, 1948, to John and Hazel Marshall. Francis was an excellent student and was proficient in mathematics and accounting; she studied business and accounting at Bakersfield Community College. Francis loved caring for others and excelled in the service industry. She went on to become a bus driver for the Kern High School District. She transported "her kids" as she called them, down the hill to North High School and to various other school activities, until her retirement. She was an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed living in the Glennville area and the mountain environment. She chose to live out her days in Glennville because she loved the people, the land and the animals. Francis is proceeded in death by her husband, Michael Chambers, her father John Marshall, her mother Hazel Marshall, her brothers, Lavorn Simpson, Kenneth Simpson, Dickie Marshall, Johnny Marshall, and her sister Etola Marshall Scott. She is survived by her brother, Floyd Simpson, (Shirley), her sisters, Jackie Marshall Retzer, Willia Marshall Ziemer, Geneva Marshall Woertz, (Larry) and Judy Marshall Chapman Hopkins, (Fred); two sisters-in-law, Margaret Marshall, and Jane Marshall; numerous nephews and nieces and cousins.
