Isaac J. Reyes(1954 - 2012)

Isaac J. Reyes October 25, 1954 - October 8, 2012 Isaac J. Reyes, 57, passed away peacefully at home in Bakersfield, California on Monday, October 8, 2012. He is reunited in Heaven with his father Pascual and his father in law Jose De Los Santos. Isaac was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Left to cherish his memory is his mother Alicia Reyes, Corrine his wife of 37 years, his children Isaac and wife Leslie, Venessa and Elias. He was the loving and proud grandfather of six grandchildren Xander, Elissa, Rachel, Mercedes, Islie, and Elizabeth who all knew him as their "Nana". He came from a large family which included his 8 siblings who he loved and cared for: Veronica, Taurina, Lydia, Cruz, Pascual Jr., Rosario, Marcos, and Susanna Alicia. Isaac worked over 25 years for Southern Pacific/Union Pacific Railroads and everyone knew him as the "Purple Haze". He made lots of friends and created many entertaining memories. Isaac had a passion for music, movies and spending time with his little family. Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 15th from 5pm-9pm with the Rosary recited at 6pm. Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Tuesday, October 16th at 10am. Interment will follow the mass. Isaac will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd, Bakersfield. Friends and family are invited to attend a get together immediately after interment at Hillcrest's reception area to pay tribute to the memory of Isaac J. Reyes.
