Jack Homer Lehman(1924 - 2013)

Jack Homer Lehman February 23, 1924 - February 25, 2013 Jack was born in Arizona and moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado at a very young age. Jack joined the Navy after high school and fought in the Pacific in WWII. He loved airplanes and loved working on them. After the war, he left the Navy and later joined the Coast Gaurd. After a few more years, he then joined the Air Force. He retired after 20 years of service to his country. Jack and his previous wife were the parents of six children. He is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jack enjoyed his hobbies of building ships and airplanes in his spare time. His models are fantastic and he had a lot of patience when working on them, He also made jewelry and did some rock hounding. He also could fix anything with his hands and enjoyed making things. Burial will be held at the V.A. Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4th. www.bakersfield.com/obits
