Josylyn Greenway(1958 - 2013)

Joslyn Greenway November 24, 1958 - July 17, 2013 Joslyn Greenway was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 17, 2013. Born to Pat and Stella Baca in Los Alamos, New Mexico, Joslyn was blessed with the gift of giving. She was always helping or giving her time to friends or relatives. She was quick to give the first smile of the day and the last smile of the day. She will be missed by many, many teachers over the last 24 years. The last 19 were at Cesar Chavez. She also gave her time and effort to coach not only a track team, but a very successful track program. Joslyn would be delighted when former runners would show up for practice and ask if they could still run her workouts. The kids loved it when she took them to run the hills and after their workout was over, Coach Greenway would give the runners ice cold gatoraid. Joslyn always looked forward to traveling with her husband Bruce. it didn't matter where! Baseball parks, Cancun, the beach, the mountains, or just floating in the pool. One of Joslyns favorite habits was having a cookie and coffee in the morning and reading the newspaper. Joslyn loved to read. She will be greatly missed by her husband Bruce; step children Kristina Greenway, Jason Greenway and Jeremy Tingle; her closest friend and sister Jayrene Reynolds and husband Bob; brother Pat Baca and wife Cindy; brother Joel Baca and sister in law Paula Baca. Also missing her will be a long list of friends and relatives. She will be missed by all the wonderful teachers at Chavez and a special thanks to Ruscal Reader, her retired principal. There will be a service held at Valley Bible Fellowship at 2300 Brundage Lane at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation in her name to the .
