Ruth Maxwell Caudle Malding 1921 - 2012 Ruth was born May 11, 1921, in LaPuente, CA to John and Marie Georges, and passed away December 9, 2012. She moved to Bakersfield as a child and married Virgil Maxwell when she was 16 years old. They had four children, George, Manlene, Wayne and Ruby. They had 28 years together before he passed away. Ruth married Otis Caudle and they moved to Orange Cove. After 22 years of marriage, he passed away. Ruth married Harmon Malding and after he passed, she returned to Bakersfield in 1990. Mom enjoyed renewing old friendships and returning to Sunshine Church where she was active in the Ladies Circle. She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, brothers, Ralph and Stanley, and son, George Maxwell. She is survived by daughter, Manlene Robbins; daughter-in-law, Sharon Maxwell; son, Wayne (Kathy) Maxwell of Bakersfield; daughter, Ruby (Matthew) Lewis of Missouri; stepsons, Otis Jr., Benny, and Jerry Caudle; 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Graveside services will be Friday, December 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary. www.bakersfield.com/obits
