Salvador Vasquez Salazar(1948 - 2013)

Salvador Vasquez Salazar June 18, 1948 - April 28, 2013 Sal was retired, enjoyed trips to the beach with his wife, and spending time with his family. He proudly served as a Marine and enjoyed working on jet planes during his service. He was a draftsmen for the County of Kern, before becoming a Sergeant at the California Dept. of Corrections. He was preceded in death by his father, Salvador Mendez Salazar, his mother, Teresa Vasquez Salazar, and his brother Cristoval Salazar. Salvador leaves behind his wife, Evangeline Salazar; daughter Dolores Salazar; daughter Tina and husband Joe Figueroa; daughter Teresa Salazar; step-daughter Tiffany Brandenburg, step-son Roman Lara III and wife Susan, five grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Manu & Dr. Michael at Mercy hospital. Very special thanks to Dr. Goodman, Dr. Hendifar, Dr. Gupta and their teams of doctors and nurses at Cedars Sinai. A memorial service will be held May 3, 2013, 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Southwest 2739 Panama Lane.
