Holden Joseph Albert May 14, 1988 - December 24, 2010 Holden was born in Bakersfield, California 22 years ago to Brian and Janet Albert. He is a graduate of Liberty High, class of 2006. Holden and his girlfriend, Melissa Sherwood, just had a son, Stephan, whom he was very proud of. Holden is preceded in death by his sister, Amber Albert and his grandmother, Claire Albert, and great-grandmother Etoye Hagley. He is survived by his parents, Brian and Janet Albert; sister, Ashley; brother, Randy; niece, Camryn; his grandparents, Harry and Hortencia Albert, and Bobby and Charlene Thompson, and Masie Goldsmith; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 3rd from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Mission Family Mortuary (531 California Ave). Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 4th, at 10:00am at New Life Center (4201 Stine Rd). www.bakersfield.com/obits

My heart and prayers go out to the whole Albert family. I remember Holden as we were kids, always playing Hide-N-Seek at night with all the neighborhood kids, and swimming and jumping on the trampoline in their back yard. Amber and Holden are together again, forever God's Angels looking over us all.

Your family has endured more than most families in one lifetime I only hope my family can be as stong as yours in times like these.

It hurts that you are gone but I smile when I think about how happy your were the last year of your life. You found true love with Melissa and Stephan, and you will live through Stephan, which is so comforting. Melissa is a beautiful person inside and out, and Im glad that you two came into eachothers lives when you did. All my love.

My heart truly breaks for you, Brian and Janet. I did not know Holden like I knew Amber but with parents like you I am sure he was a wonderful son and father. I am sorry that I could not make it to his memorial service but my heart was there. May your fond memories and love for each other hold you together in this sad time of your life.

My last message was only half copied and posted 2x ...so I just wanted to finish saying what a kind and fun person Holden was ! He was always riding ATVs and working on cars with his Dad..I didn't get to see him with his son but I hear he was a very proud and doting Daddy ! He had such a special relationship with his Mom and his siblings..he missed his sister Amber every day and adored his beautiful neice Camryn who lovingly called him Unky ! Holden was such a beautiful baby he had gorgeous thick blonde hair and the cutest little voice...I remember when he was about 2 Janet was looking for her purse and Holden said Mom me sink I seed it in Da car ! So precious ! Holden and his family are some of the most precious friends to our family...my heart breaks for them , Melissa and their Son Stephan...and our prayers are with them..and we can only hold hope that we know there will be a happy reunion day with all those we love..I am sure Amber was the first person to run to Holden and hug his neck and welcome him to Heaven.God be with the Albert family we dearly love you!

I remember when he was a baby and its hard to believe he is gone already. Just like when his sister Amber passed it just doesn't feel real to me both left so soon its hard to understand it. But I know they are at peace and so I will be also because we will meet again. My prayers for Janet, Brian, Ashley and Masie.
