Aida Capucao Garcera June 6, 1929 ~ December 25, 2012 Aida C. Garcera, born in the Philippines to parents Felicisimo, Sr. and Maria Capucao has stayed in California with her children for over 30 years. After 83 years on this earth, our Lord called her on December 25, 2012, while surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at Mercy Hospital's ICU. Aida is survived by her children in the United States: Felix and Lena with children Ace (AJ) and April; Marilyn and Carlos with children Airolyn, CJ, Carla, Claire; Luz and Dennis with children Michael, Michelle, Mary Lou, JR, and Fatima; Eduardo, Jr. and Joann with children, Carlo and Jeff; Edgar and Merlyn; Mariano and Encar with children Mark Ace, Angela, and Angelo; Luis and Lorelie with Miko; Gloria and Sammy with children Gabriel, Erriko, Junior, and Rafael; Mary Ann and Joel with children Joshua, Leah and J.P. Children residing in the Philippines: Edna and Rudy with children, Rona, Christina, and Ron-Ron; Dorothy and Bonnie with children, Mabeth and Carlo. Four great-grandchildren Bailey, Trystan, Braxton, and Mikaella also survive her. On the day of her passing, Aida also celebrated her 61st Wedding Anniversary with her husband, Eduardo Garcera, Sr. who preceded her in death six years ago. Aida will be buried in Naga City, Philippines, at the side of her husband, Eduardo Garcera, Sr. Visitations will be held on Thursday and Friday, January 3 and 4, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane. Mass will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle, 7100 Stockdale Hwy.
