Alan Wilson

Born in Taft, California to Floyd and Lola Wilson and went home to our Lord and Savior. He attended Standard School and North High School; graduating in 1956. Enlisted briefly in Marine Reserves in 1957 with a medical discharge.
He was married to Marlene Eoff; together they had 3 children.
Alan worked for Hoppers until 1979 before moving to Rolla, Missouri.
He met and was married to Wanda until she passed away in 2001. Alan owned an appliance store; then was an appraiser with Stoltz Realty; retired and joined The Senior Companion Program. Alan was a blessing to many shut-in elders; winning honors.
Alan returned to California in 2002 to care for his mother Lola.
Alan leaves behind his mother Lola Brown, brother Chuck Wilson, step- brother Bill Brown and stepsister Sherry Gilespi; children; Kim Hatton, Sauni (Paul) Coon and Todd Wilson, grandchildren; Andrew (Chelsea), Nicholas(Kayla) and Grant(Ceci) Burich, Parker and Ethan Coon; Cameron, Claire, Beau and Emmett Wilson; great grandchildren; Carter, Ella and Allen; Aunt Amy Crowder; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Alan treasured his life long best friend Todd Mauldin and a very special love of his life and fiance, Frankie Feldman.
Alan was a kind and loving man; forever in our hearts; He loved dogs especially his recent Scotties; Paddy and Skye. He enjoyed every moment with his children, grandchildren and friends. He will be joyful in heaven with family and friends including stepdad William (Brownie) Brown, stepmother Melba Wilson, half sister Lynn Combs and grandson Adam.
A Celebration of Life will be held January 10 at 1 o'clock; First United Methodist Church, 344 East Morton Ave, Porterville, Ca.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to local animal rescues in Alan's honor.
