Anamary L. Swearingen Obituary
In loving memory of Anamary L. Swearingen, born to Donald and Wilma Bennett on August 28, 1927. Anamary, widow of Cecil Swearingen, died on Friday, August 8, 2014 in Lancaster, California after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by three brothers,two sisters and her daughter, Diana Barnett. She is survived by her two sisters, Marilyn Blanco and husband, Juan of Sunnyvale, California and Donna McGlynn of Tiverton, Rhode Island. Anamary was the beloved mother to Sandra Haynes, and Evalyn Smith and her husband, Willie. She was also the grandmother of Larry and Scott Hayes, Steven Ametjan, and Michael and Nathan Smith; as well as five great-grandchildren. She also had a large extended family with her husband, Cecil, which included the Burns, Ingold, Haskins and Maxwell families.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bakersfield, California. Pallbearers will be Larry Hayes, Scott Hayes, Nick Hayes, Steven Ametjan, Mark Maxwell and Michael Burns. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Robago and Jerry Robago.
