Armando "Burt" Trevino Ronquillo Obituary
Armando was born in San Angelo, Texas to Erineo and Minerva Ronquillo. He served in the U.S. Army during the end of the Korean War, and on his return married his sweetheart, Helen Mojica, they were married for 55 years.
Dad worked at Calcot for 30 years and was well known for his mechanical skills.
His passions in life were his love for his family, cruising in his Lincoln, listening to his oldies music, working on cars, sharing a good laugh, and helping anyone in need, family or strangers.
He is preceded in death by his Wife Helen, Sons; baby Armando, Andrew & Armando Jr., Daughters; Avery Avila, and Apolonia Ronquillo, Brothers; Willie, Arthur, Joe & Eddie, Sisters; Alice, Eleanor & Sophie Ronquillo
He is survived by his sons; Frank & Gabriel (Belen), Daughter; Charmaine Ronquillo (Joseph Feliz), 39 grandchildren & 55 great grandchildren, Brothers; Dan, Richard & Gilbert, Sisters; Alvesa, Victoria, Ruth & Frances.
His viewing & Rosary will be at Basham's Funeral Care on Thursday July 10th. Visitation: 5-10 pm, Rosary: 7 pm. Services will be held Friday July 11th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10 am, followed by graveside at Union Cemetery.
His beloved daughter, Charmaine, who cared for him will always love and miss him along with all his family and friends. A special thank you to his brothers and sisters for always being there for him, the V.A. Clinic and good friend, Bobby Berlanga, who visited him often.
