Arnold Goodwin December 22, 1939 - July 26, 2012 Arnold George Goodwin was a man of few words with an unforgettable chuckle and smile that will forever be cherished. He was born on December 22, 1939 in Bakersfield, CA and departed on July 26, 2012 in Shafter, CA from Alzheimer's disease. Arnold was a life-long mechanic, who loved music, golfing, family campouts, and spending precious time with his grandchildren. Arnold was a Master Mason and a member of the Shriners (Delano Wasco Lodge). He also belonged to Mobile Nobles. He was preceded in death by, his son, Eddie. Arnold is survived by his devoted wife Gwen; mother, Thelma Goodwin; brother, Bob and Judy; sisters Alene and Lavalla; and his loving sons and stepchildren Michael and Annette, Brad and Shelly, Richard, Audie and Brian Hull, Steven and Alicia Sloss, Wesley and Francine Sloss, Scott and Ellen Sloss; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A special thanks to the staff at Golden Living Center in Shafter for taking care of our grandpa.
