Aubrey Lee (Al) Fisher Obituary
The life of Aubrey Lee Fisher will be celebrated on Thursday, January 29, at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, Bear Mountain Road, 10:45 a.m. He was the loving husband of Carroll Tudor Fisher (CJ), and was preceded in death by his parents, Hencie and Reba Fisher; his brother, Robert; and son, Grant Scott Fisher. Aubrey is survived by his two daughters, Robin (Juan) Larios and Tracy Fisher; his sister, Judy (Manuel) Leon; four grandchildren, Joseph and Daniel Larios, Eva Howard, and Amanda Fisher; two infant great-grandchildren, Avin Larios and Everly Howard.
Al graduated from East Bakersfield High School in 1946, and entered the U.S. Marine Corps where he served in Guam. He began his professional career with the Kern County Land Company and then spent 28 years designing freeways with CalTrans. Al's greatest passion in life was sailing his 44' sailboat with CJ on the open seas.
Aubrey will be sorely missed
