Audrey (Pauline) Walker November 15, 1924 - June 18, 2012 Pauline Walker was born in Knoxville, Arkansas to Andrew and Beulah Dunlap on November 15, 1924. She passed away on June 18, 2012 after a short illness. She met her husband, Truman Walker, in Arkansas. Pauline moved to California to work in the shipyards in Long Beach during WWII (she always claimed that she helped build President Kennedy's PT boat and that her initials were on it). Truman followed later and they were married in Reno, Nevada in 1945. They moved to Bakersfield in 1947 where they raised four children. Pauline spent many enjoyable years working in food management at Lerdo School while raising her four children. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Truman, daughters Beverly Stickles and Janice Linger. She is survived by her sons Dennis (Barbara) and Michael, son-in-law Kenneth Linger, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Westchester Gardens SW, Dr. Aung and Krishna at San Joaquin Hospital for all of their help and care.
