On March 28, 2015, Bernece L. Morgan, our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was called home to her Lord and Savior, surrounded by loved ones, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Bernece's life at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, at Greenlawn Memorial Park at 3700 River Boulevard. Bernece was born on November 26, 1929, in Yuma, AZ, to Elpha and Leon Wilson.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother throughout her life, caring for those around her with kindness and love. Bernece married Raymond E. Morgan on October 30, 1948, and became mother to Stephen and Larry shortly after. She was very skillful in crocheting and cooking, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Bernece's devotion to church and family will always be remembered, as will her love for the color pink and dislike for chocolate.
Bernece is preceded in death by her son Larry and his wife Debbie; mother, Elpha; father, Leon; brothers Lee and Harold; and, sister, Wanda.Bernece is survived by her husband, Raymond Morgan; brother Jerry and his wife, Pam; sister Patt and her husband, Trenton Spears; brother Buddy; son Stephen and his wife, Judy (Kelley); granddaughter Amber and her husband, Charley Chiang, granddaughter Trisha Benevides; grandson Stephen and his wife, Alison (Dale); four great-grandchildren; and, countless extended family members.
