Bernice Kooken Rolls Livengood Obituary
Bernice Kooken Rolls Livengood passed away in her birthplace Bakersfield California, December 27th. Bernice spent nearly her entire life in Taft, graduating from high school and raising her family there.
For almost 20 years she was most recognized as a Taft Avon Representative. She was also an assistant Den Mother for the local Cub Scouts. Other undertakings included being a Lieutenant in the Taft Civil Air Patrol and member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West. After retirement she spent nearly 20 years volunteering at the West Kern Oil Museum.
All through her career, Bernice was known for her well dressed, professional appearance.
She was preceded in death by her parents Orville amd Emma Kooken, daughter Juanita Rolls Dotson and brother Ray Kooken.
Survivors include her brother Marvin Kooken, son Bill Rolls, grandson Aaron Rolls, great-grandson Landon Rolls, niece Stephanie (kooken) Berry and nephew Jeff Kooken.
